Artist statement:
How do you explain to someone the way you see the world? This is what drives my creativity. My artistic challenge is to seek unique beauty in the familiar, to inspire the viewer to see their world in a new way.Walking the streets of Flemington and Kensington lined with 19th century architecture motivated me to starting taking photographs, I could see how quickly these treasures could disappear - not only the landmark 19th century buildings but the remnants of everyday life - the old shop fronts, the bluestone laneways. It grew from there, to explore other suburbs in the West, the City and now everywhere I go I'm framing the scene and taking photos
