Angela White is the Melbourne-based graphic designer

behind Sew Your Own and

 the georgeous Miss Buttons.

Her designs are dedicated to creating

sewing patterns that are easy to make

for the absolute beginner.

The beauty of her designs is that everyone

as individual as the individuals making them!

Angela’s focus has been on keeping things

simple to appeal to inexperienced crafters,

She has said that it’s more about getting people started,

knowing that when the project is finished it’ll work,

and the hope that it’ll inspire them to give sewing a go,

and start them on their own creative journey.

Miss Buttons was the first of Angela’s patterns, 

followed up with a pattern for the boys - Mr Electron,

a Superhero complete with boots and superhero stripes,

and Miss Allsorts, a retro, babushka-inspired doll.
